PT Semen Baturaja, in commemoration of World Environment Day, June 5, 2015, PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk and local government together with BLH OKU and Jejak Indonesia NGOs held a trail Indonesia Conservation and Environmental Training on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the Aula WismaGanesha Factory of Semen Baturaja.

The event was opened by Assistant III Secretariat OKU Mr. Dr H A Tarmizi represent Regent of OKU on this occasion he delivered a message from the Regent of OKU that all communities and companies, institutions, agencies and offices should have a good insight into the environment so that maintained the balance of our environment.

On this occasion also Kaban BLH OKU who once PamongKalpatruMrIrIskandarZulkarnain explain that members of SakaKalpataruwho inducted are the heads of companies in OKU are also required and should focus on the environment.

Awarded Good Tax Administration for The Fiscal Year 2014

 

PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk awarded “Good Tax Administration of Taxpayer In Fiscal Year 2014” at Appreciation Night and Awards Taxpayer of Tax Office (KPP) branch Palembang organized by the Regional Office of Directorate General of Taxation South Sumatra and Bangka Belitung Tuesday (16/6) at the Ballroom of Hotel Aryaduta.

Tax Office (KPP) Branch Palembang awarded Taxable Entrepreneur (PKP) with certain criteria that have ran a good tax administration. PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk is included as one of five (5) receivers taxpayer with the good administration of taxation criteria. The award is given directly by Mr. Vadri Usman as Head of Tax Office (KPP) Branch Palembang to the management of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk, represented by Mr. Ageng Purboyo Angrenggono as Director of Finance, accompanied by Mr. Rum Hendarmin as Head of Finance Department and Mr. Yurnalis as Chief of Treasury Bureau.

At this event were also given awards to ten (10) Taxable Person with the criteria Taxpayers with large tax contributions and 5 (five) taxpayers with the largest contribution in the Tax Office (KPP) Branch Palembang.

Finance Director of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk revealed that PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk also awarded obedient taxpayer provided by the Directorate General of Taxes through the Large Taxpayer Regional Office 3 (three) Jakarta for 2 (two) consecutive periods commencing January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2014 and January 1, 2015 through to December 31, 2016 some time ago.

He also added that this event is good to be implemented in order to create a close relationship both the Directorate General of Taxes in this case Tax Office (KPP) Branch Palembang and the registered taxpayer, but it could increase the motivation and awareness for the taxpayers to meet their tax obligations in accordance with the applied tax regulations. (Public Relation of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk)

The Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (PTSB) and Perusahaan Daerah Pertambangan dan Energi (PDPDE)

 

Palembang, on Thursday, May 25, 2015 was held signing Memorandum of Understanding with Perusahaan Daerah Pertambangan dan Energi (PDPDE) at Meeting Room office of the Governor of South Sumatra. The event Witnessed by Mr. Alex Noerdin as Governor of South Sumatra.

Signing ceremony of the MOU was attended by the management of both companies. Board of Director and Head Of Department of PTSB and President Director of PDPDE and staff attended the ceremony. Moreover, representatives of SKPD OKU District and the Province of South Sumatra attended the ceremony.

The MOU signing ceremony was opened by report from Mr. A. Yaniarsyah Hasan, President Director of PDPDE and followed speech from MR. Pamudji Rahardjo, President Director of PTSB. After that, signed MOU between PTSB and PDPDE.

The scope of cooperation under the MOU include :

  1. Development of PLTU (Steam Power Generation) at Baturaja
  2. Land Development for Cement Terminal at Special Economic Zones (SEZ) Tanjung Api-Api and other areas,
  3. Marketing of cement products and derivatives,
  4. Other sectors that are considered necessary to be agreed.

In closing, Mr. Alex Noerdin, Governor of South Sumatra in his speech said that cooperation between these companies is great. In his opinion, in the next South of Sumatra will build some infrastructure to support South Sumatra to host the Asian Games. The hope that the MOU has done by PTSB and PDPDE can take a role in the development of Special Economic Zones (SEZ) Tanjung Api-api will be gate at the same time driving forward to the economy of South Sumatra.
