BATURAJA – PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) held the Inauguration of Durian Gardens and Distribution of Plant Seeds to Adiwiyata Schools in commemoration of World Environment Day which fell on June 5, 2022. This activity was held on Friday (8/7) at the Baturaja Factory Area.
The event was attended by the Director of Production and Development (Dirprod) of SMBR Suherman Yahya, the Head of the Environmental Service of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency (DLH of OKU Regency) who was represented by the Secretary of DLH OKU Regency H. Bahruddin and Adiwiyata School Trustees in OKU Regency.

The inauguration of the Durian Garden was marked by a ribbon cutting by the Director of Prod SMBR and the Secretary of DLH OKU District. Followed by planting durian trees by both parties.
SMBR itself has always been committed to doing reforestation in the Company’s environment. This activity is one of a series of programs that have been carried out by SMBR. This durian plantation uses a silvicultural system in the hope of increasing the biodiversity in the vicinity.

Suherman said this is a form of SMBR’s commitment to continue implementing the reforestation program through the Silviculture System which has been carried out since 2017.

“SMBR has planted more than 10,000 trees in the Baturaja Factory Area which is in line with SMBR’s vision to become the leading Green Cement Based Building Material Company in Indonesia,” he added.

Not only the inauguration of the Durian Gardens, SMBR in synergy with DLH Kab OKU created the “Tree Planter School” Program which is an environmental conservation program from SMBR, this program supports environmental conservation and care through the Adiwiyata School. Adiwiyata School is one of the programs of the Ministry of Environment in order to encourage the creation of knowledge and awareness of school residents in an effort to preserve the environment.

SMBR gave appreciation through certificates of appreciation to five schools that won the title of Adiwiyata School in OKU Regency which had contributed and supported environmental conservation. This activity is also one of the Corporate Social Responsibility programs in the Environmental Sector.

“Not only a charter, we also give Plant Seeds to Adiwiyata School in the form of durian, guava, avocado, tamarind seeds. Hopefully the school residents have a healthy environment and care about the environment,” he concluded.

The activity was closed with an award from SMBR to DLH OKU Regency which was symbolically given by the Director of Prod of SMBR to the Secretary of DLH OKU Regency for guidance in the field of Environment. {}

PALEMBANG – PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) participated in the Sriwijaya Expo event which was held on 2-6 July 2022 at Plaza Venue Dempo Jakabaring Sport City (JSC).

The Sriwijaya Expo event which is held annually by the South Sumatra Provincial Government this time is deliberately held in conjunction with the VI National Recreational Sports Festival (FORNAS). So that the Sriwijaya Expo can be enjoyed by all Indonesian people because the FORNAS event is attended by participants from 34 provinces.

In this Sriwijaya Expo event, SMBR displayed Cement Products and derivative products such as Porous Concrete and Cement Mortar. The excitement of the Sriwijaya Expo event did not escape the presence of visitors, the majority of whom were residents of Palembang City. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, this has been the start of major events organized by the Palembang City Government. Until the last day of the Expo, the SMBR booth had been visited by 1,591 people. SMBR also distributed souvenirs to visitors by participating in the games that had been prepared.

PALEMBANG – PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) supports the Workshop on Management and Supervision of Village Finance and BUMNDes held by the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IKA) and the Postgraduate Program at Tamansiswa Palembang University. This event was held on Saturday (2/7) at The Zuri Hotel, Palembang City.

Presenting 5 resource persons, namely Nelly Nasnila, Chair of the South Sumatra Province BUMDes Forum, Benjamin Abdurahman, Executive Director of Inter-Regional Cooperation Empowerment (LEKAD), Adi Kurniadi, Public Sector Accountant, IKA South Sumatra Region, and Wahyudi, Competence and Professionalism Development, IKA, South Sumatra Region.

The event was attended by Dewi Yuliani, Director of Technical Planning for Village and Rural Development, Kemendesa PDTT as a Keynote Speech.

This workshop discussed policies, mapping the work program of the Village Government, managing village assets as well as village management and supervision, Village Funds and Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes). It was attended by 40 participants, which were followed by Village Heads, Village Apartments, Village BPD Members and BUMDes Managers.{}



BATURAJA – The Association of Semen Baturaja Employees’ Wives (IIKSB) held the VI General Conference (MUBES) with the theme “With the New Normalization We Welcome Reforms to Work Better”. This event was held in the Hall of Wisma Ganesha, Baturaja Factory, on Tuesday (28/06).

This event was attended by the entire Board of Directors of SMBR as IIKSB Trustees, all IIKSB Advisors and IIKSB Management for each site as well as IIKSB Members. The Head of Srikandi SMBR, Mrs. Fitria Margareta, was also present at this event.

IIKSB supervisor Mr. Daconi in his speech appreciated all IIKSB management and members who played an important role in supporting their husband’s duties and responsibilities at work so that they could give their best contribution to this company.

On this occasion, in connection with the change in the IIKSB board of directors, the General Chairperson for the 2022-2025 period was elected and Mrs. Irma Adi Oktaviandi was elected as the new General Chair for the 2022-2025 period.

IIKSB plays a role in gathering and uniting members (the wives of SMBR employees), helping to create household harmony among members. Establishing and developing quality resources also improves the welfare of members and families.

All activities ran smoothly and successfully while still complying with existing health protocols. In this MUBES VI, presentations in Plenary Sessions I to IV have also been carried out, in the form of the IIKSB Accountability Report, Reading and ratification of AD/ART, which had previously been prepared, and agreed upon by all members present.

In her speech, the IIKSB Advisor, Bonita Daconi, conveyed directions to the elected Chair, so that she could continue the remaining previous programs, in which the program could be realized during the tenure of the Chairperson and IIKSB Management for the 2022-2025 Period.{}

PALEMBANG – In order to improve the quality of public information services in accordance with the mandate contained in Law no. 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Disclosure, PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) held a PPID Technical Guidance Activity (Bimtek) which took place at the SMBR Kertapati Head Office, Palembang City on Thursday (23/6).

The Bimtek activity was attended by 20 participants consisting of representatives from each SMBR Division. This technical guidance invited two resource persons, namely Rospita Vici Paulyn, Commissioner of the Indonesian Central Information Commission (KIP) and Anne Londa, an Expert on Legal Affairs of the Indonesian Central Information Commission (KIP).

SMBR management is very supportive of this Bimtek activity. Director General and SMBR Gatot Mardiana said that as a Public Company SMBR certainly strives to continuously improve the quality of information disclosure and efforts to build commitments to meet public information service standards accurately and quickly.{}

BATURAJA – PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) through the TJSL program distributed assistance in the form of 200 food packages to flood victims in OKU Regency. This flood disaster occurred on Thursday (9/6) in OKU Regency.

This assistance was symbolically handed over by the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of the SMBR Dept to the OKU District Social Service on Tuesday (15/6). SMBR provided assistance with 200 food packages worth Rp. 10,000,000,-

This assistance is a form of SMBR’s concern for disaster victims. Hopefully the assistance provided can be useful for residents affected by the disaster.{}

PALEMBANG – PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) successfully achieved a very satisfactory score of up to 99.87% in fulfilling the Domestic Content Level (TKDN) of 8 products registered through the Ministry of Industry’s Increased Use of Domestic Products (P3DN) Program.

There are eight SMBR products that have been certified TKDN including, White Clay (score 99.87%), Clinker (score 97.62%), Bulk Type V OPC (score 92.78%), OPC Type I Bulk (score 92.59 %), Bulk PCC Cement (score 92.06%), Bulk Type II OPC (score 91.08%), OPC Type I Zak 50 Kg (score 83.91%), and Cement PCC Zak 50 Kg (score 81, 01%).

In supporting the government’s efforts to strengthen industrial progress and domestic products, SMBR as one of the State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) has provided product consistency with a very satisfactory TKDN score.

“This increase in the use of TKDN is expected to be able to accelerate the level of national productivity in order to support economic recovery after Covid 19.” said Daconi, President Director of SMBR.

In accordance with the Presidential Instruction of the Republic of Indonesia (Inpres) Number 2 of 2022 concerning the Acceleration of Increasing the Use of Domestic Products and Products of Micro, Small Business and Cooperatives, the Company is fully committed to developing and supporting domestic industries.

BUMN itself is expected to be a pioneer in increasing the use of domestic products which has become a priority for the government going forward. In accordance with the government’s target of increasing TKDN in the RJPMN in 2020 by 43.3%, increasing to 50% in 2024.

“We have also provided socialization about TKDN to all employees in optimizing SOE P3DN with the hope that the TKDN score at SMBR can increase even better,” he concluded. {}

PALEMBANG – PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) Signed a Cooperation (MoU) with the South Sumatra High Prosecutor’s Office (Kejati) on Handling Civil Law and State Administrative Issues at the SMBR Headquarters, Palembang on Thursday (16/06).

The signing of this agreement was carried out by the President Director of SMBR Daconi with the Head of the South Sumatra High Prosecutor’s Office, Drs. Muhammad Naim, S.H. who was accompanied and witnessed directly by the Director of General Affairs and HR of SMBR Gatot Mardiana, Director of Production and Development of SMBR Suherman Yahya as well as the Assistant for Civil and State Administration Pipuk Firman Priyadi, S.H., M.H., Assistant for Supervision of Raja Ulung Padang, S.H., M.H., Assistant for General Crime Sutikno, S.H., M.H., Head of Administration Tatang Darmi, SH, Field Coordinator Datung Nurmajayani, S.H., M.H. and the Heads of Sections of the South Sumatra Attorney General’s Office Datun.

In his remarks, the President Director of SMBR Daconi said the MoU with the South Sumatra Prosecutor’s Office was a follow-up to the hearing on June 10, 2022 at the South Sumatra Prosecutor’s Office, Jakabaring, Palembang City.

“This MoU is to improve handling in solving legal problems faced by the Company,” said Daconi

Semen Baturaja as one of the state-owned companies engaged in the cement industry and is a state asset that is registered as one of the national vital objects, so its position becomes very important.

PALEMBANG – PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) won the 2022 Zero Accident Award by the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) of the Republic of Indonesia. The event was held boldly and offline at Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta on Tuesday (24/05). The award was bravely accepted by the Dept. SMBR Safety & Environment.

The Zero Accident Award is a sign of the government’s K3 appreciation for company management that has succeeded in implementing the OHS Program so as to achieve zero accidents (Zero Accident), this year Semen Baturaja received an award for its achievements in implementing the Occupational Safety Program (K3) without Accidents Work (Zero Accident) at 3 Sites, namely Baturaja Site, Lampung Site and Palembang Site

The Baturaja site managed to achieve 4,782,296 Work Hours for People Without Accidents (Zero Accident), starting from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2021. For the Palembang site, it had reached 6,921,288 Working Hours for Persons Without Accidents (Zero Accident) as of January 1, 2014 until December 31, 2021. Then Site Panjang succeeded in reaching 3,922,659 Work Hours of People Without Accidents (Zero Accident) from January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2021.

This important achievement will continue to be improved by implementing the OHS Management System (SMK3), of course with support and guidance from all SMBR Management.

PALEMBANG – On Thursday (09/06) the Board of Directors of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) held an audience with Plt. The Head of the High Prosecutor’s Office for the Province of South Sumatra (Sumsel) Drs. Muhammad Naim, SH, having his address at Prov. South Sumatra, Jakabaring, Palembang City.

This hearing was well received by the Acting Head of the South Sumatra Province. Attorney General’s Office. On that occasion, Daconi, President Director of SMBR, said that the company’s development and infrastructure projects in South Sumatra are getting better.

In addition, he also asked for support from the Prov. Attorney General’s Office to continue to support the steps taken by management in developing the company going forward. Previously, SMBR had collaborated with the South Sumatra Provincial Prosecutor’s Office through the MoU which was planned to be extended again in the near future.

In response to this, Plt. Head of Prov. South Sumatra stated that it was ready to synergize with SMBR in overseeing the form of handling legal problems in the Civil & State Administration sector, the scope of which was the provision of legal assistance; provide legal considerations; as well as other legal actions required by SMBR.
