Palembang – PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) continue to become a sponsor of Sriwijaya FC (SFC) in the 2019-2020 season competition. This year, Sriwijaya FC will enter the PSSI competition in League 2.

As one of the State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) operating in the Province of South Sumatra, SMBR signed a cooperation agreement as an SFC sponsor at the SMBR Head Office, on Monday (26/08).

The signing of the sponsor was carried out directly by President Director of SMBR, Jobi Triananda Hasjim, with Director of PT Sriwijaya Optimis Mandiri (SOM) as SFC management, Asfan Fikri Sanaf. The signing was witnessed by board of management of both companies and representatives of the players.

SMBR which carries the product tagline “Kokoh & Tahan Lamo”, agreed to carry the tagline “Semen Baturaja, Semennyo Laskar Wong Kito”. This tagline gives hoped that Semen Baturaja products are loved by the people of South Sumatra, like the love of Sriwijaya FC.

President Director of SMBR, Jobi Triananda Hasjim said that this collaboration with SFC can further strengthen the SMBR brand image so that people are more familiar with SMBR products as local cement products owned by the people of South Sumatra.

“We hope the people of South Sumatra will remember SFC as Laskar Wong Kito and spontaneously they will remember Semen Baturaja also” he said.

Jobi also said that the collaboration with SFC could not be separated from the company’s determination to contribute to improving football achievements in South Sumatra Province. In addition, the collaboration is also expected to significantly improve the performance of the SOEs.

As known during Semester I / 2019, SMBR managed to record an increase in sales volume from 863,984 tons to 883,622 tons, up 2% from the previous period when national cement demand still corrected by 2.2%.

SMBR has also managed to maintain and increase market share in the Sumbagsel region, which is the marketing base of SMBR by 5% to 35% from the previous period.

Jobi is optimistic that SMBR can increase cement sales on Semester II / 2019 along with an increase in sales volume in July 2019 reaching 6%. The largest increase in sales volume on July 2019 was contributed by the increasing sales in South Sumatra and Jambi.

 “Our performance in Semester II / 2019 must be better than this Semester” he said.

PT SOM as SFC’s management welcomed the sponsorship agreement since SMBR is a BUMN that operates in South Sumatra. If there are many SOEs and ROEs help Sriwijaya FC, according to Asfan, the club from South Sumatra that he leads will achieve more.

BATURAJA – PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk and Attorney of Ogan Komering Ulu signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the Field of Civil and Administrative Law in the Learning Academy Building of Baturaja Factory (21/08).

The management of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk represented by Bpk. Amrullah (HR & General Affair Director) was present at the event. Followed by Head of the Attorney of OKU. Bayu Pramesti along with the staff who were also present at the event.

The MoU between PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk and Attorney of Ogan Komering Ulu is the cooperation in the form of solving legal problems in the Civil & State Administration, which scope is legal aid; granting legal considerations; & other legal actions needed in solving legal problems in the field of civil & administrative matters faced by PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk.

Amrullah said that the MoU with Attorney of Ogan Komering Ulu signed was an extension of the previous MoU that has ended, it is very important to maintain the company operational as one of the country’s assets and national vital objects. Amrullah hopes with the signing of this MoU, the Company’s investment and operational plans in the future can run smoothly.

Jambi – Thousands of people consisting of large SOE company families and Jambi City residents participated in the 2019 fun walk that took place in Telanaipura area of ​​Jambi City on Sunday (18/08).

The hype on the left wing of the Jambi Governor’s Office on Sunday morning was dominated by red and white colors uniform worn by the participants. The event started by doing morning exercises together with the instructor.

The fun walk was opened by Governor of Jambi province, H Fachrori Umar and was followed by the Directors of PT Semen Baturaja, PT Jiswasraya, PTPN6 as PIC and Co-PIC of BHUN 2019 activities in Jambi Province as well as Head of SOEs representative offices and branches in Jambi Province.

The participants walked down the road in front of the Jambi Governor’s Office which is a car free day area, passing the Sri Soedewi Anggrek Park and offices in the area. The atmosphere was even more lively with banners of the event.

“We are very grateful to SOEs, which have initiated this sports event for people of Jambi. SOE contribution has been felt by the public and we expected more increasing in the future” said Governor Fachrori Umar.

The fun walking activity also attended by 26 students from SMN 2019 East Nusa Tenggara Province.

The atmosphere of the activity was increasingly unique with the presence of a number of traditional culinary, such as satay padang, pisang ijo, apem bandung, stup macaroni and others accordance with the theme of raising local food.

In addition, there were also exhibitions presented by SOEs business partner products in Jambi, including PTPN6, Bulog and PNM, Jiwasraya and Pegadaian.

According to Amrullah, the activity introduced regional and traditional food, in this case traditional food from Jambi Province, as well as sweet potatoes, peanuts, and local snacks.

BUMN Hadir Untuk Negeri activity, said Amrullah not only fun walk event, but also many various activities by providing donation such as donation in religious facilities, house renovation, electrification, MCK construction, scholarships and others.

Jambi – The 74th Indonesian Independence Day Commemoration Ceremony was held at the Sultan Thaha Saifuddin Airport Field in Jambi City by three BUMN companies, PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk, PT Jiwasraya and PTPN6.

President Director of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk, Jobi Triananda Hasjim become a ceremony inspector at an event attended by a thousand participants. The ceremony was attended by a number of students, including Siswa Mengenal Nusantara (SMN) 2019 participants from East Nusa Tenggara province. The Assistant Deputy II of the Agro and Pharmaceutical Industry Business from Ministry of SOEs, Agus Suharyono attend and participate in a series of ceremonies.

PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk through its CSR program invites residents of Ring 1 Kertapati Village to take part in Catfish Livestock Training with the speaker Mr. Arwadi. He is a practitioner of catfish breeders using Biofloc and Microbuble techniques.

Catfish cattle training was held on July 25, 2019 at the Baturaja Cement Headquarters in Palembang. This is a form of Semen Baturaja’s concern for residents around the factory to encourage the formation of small businesses and improve the local economy.

Cooperation between SMBR and REKIND which is a subsidiary of PT. Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) that is engaged in large-scale EPCC (Engineering Procurement Construction Commissioning) services is outlined in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the President Director of SMBR, Jobi Triananda Hasjim with the President Director of REKIND, Yanuar Budinorman.

The signing was carried out at the REKIND Representative Office, Kuningan Jakarta on Tuesday, August 6, 2019. The memorandum of understanding was valid for two years since it was signed.

Jobi said the cooperation was also carried out in the field of engineering and business development.

“We will also continue to explore other cooperation deemed necessary in the context of SOE synergy,” he said.

The synergy of BUMN and its subsidiaries is one of the important part of the Three Elephants Initiative.

According to Jobi, the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding is an initial commitment in order to realize mutually beneficial cooperation and be able to provide added value to the company.

“It is hoped that this cooperation can guarantee the smooth operation of each company, of course by continuing to pay attention to the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG),” he said.

Jobi expressed that the BUMN he has led over the past year has produced various types of cement according to needs such as Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) Type I, II and V and Portland Composite Cement (PCC).

Jobi said that SMBR is a state-owned cement producer. One of his main tasks, according to Jobi, is to ensure the smooth availability of cement in various regions in Indonesia, especially in Southern Sumatra. SMBR cement products are produced and distributed from factories in three locations, namely Lampung, Baturaja and Palembang.

SMBR products are known for their sturdy and durable quality, so consumers in the retail market do not hesitate to continue buying SMBR products. The Semen Baturaja Basketball Team won the 2019 Palembang Basket League Second Division. The final match (04/08) held at Canton Park Kenten, the SMBR Team against the Bhayangkara Basketball Team in South Sumatra with a score of 62-61. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang Management (Pusri) consisting of Technical & Development Director, Listyawan Adi Pratisto, along with GM Maintenance, Ibnu Widagdo and Procurement Manager, Eko Sugiharto, visited the Baturaja Cement Factory (SMBR), Monday, 5 August 2019.

The Pusri management were received at the Baturaja Factory by the Director of Production and Development of SMBR, Daconi accompanied by VP Operation I, Kartha Kurniadi and VP Operation II, Adi Oktaviandi along with the staf.

The team from Pusri visited the SMBR’s Quarry area to see firsthand the whiteclay mining process. In addition, the team also visited the Central Control Room (CCR) of Baturaja I Factory.

The visit was carried out in order to follow up on the cooperation of the use of clay that had been agreed by Pusri and SMBR on 8 May 2019.

Previously, SMBR and Pusri had agreed to use the whiteclay produced by SMBR. Whiteclay is one of the raw materials for fertilizer production in Pusri.

PALEMBANG – Semen Baturaja (SMBR) has just awarded Seven Outstanding Awards in the category of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) / Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD) in South Sumatra, on Tuesday, July 3, 2019 at the Ballroom Hotel Excelton Palembang.

The award was presented directly by the Governor of South Sumatra (Sumsel), H. Herman Deru, to SMBR Management represented by the Senior Manager of Public, Government & Media Relations, Zulman Jamal and witnessed by the Head of the Tribun Sumsel Newsroom, Wenny Ramdiastuti.

Together with seven BUMN and BUMD in South Sumatra Province, the award was given to SMBR for its contribution so far in supporting government programs to advance South Sumatra.

PALEMBANG – Event Construction Service Week (CSW) 2019 was held at the Santika Hotel Palembang from Tuesday, July 2 to Wednesday, July 3, 2019 and carried the theme “Synergy to Build Construction Services’.
