Palembang – PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR), as a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG), participated in the 2023 Palembang Expo exhibition which was held in celebration of the 1340th anniversary of Palembang City.

The exhibition will last for four days from 15 to 18 June 2023 in the front yard of the Palembang Mayor Kambang Iwak’s official residence. Show 75 stands displaying various products from Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Palembang area, one of which is SMBR. In the previous year SMBR also participated in the same activity.

This year, SMBR brought 13 superior products from Rumah BUMN Baturaja fostered partners, including clothing and food typical of South Sumatra. Not to forget, various interesting activities and entertainment were also held by SMBR during the exhibition, such as games and sweepstakes, which succeeded in getting the enthusiasm of the visitors who attended.

This exhibition is a promotional event to display a variety of products made by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) from Rumah BUMN Baturaja fostered partners.

Yogyakarta – PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) as a Subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) through the Environmental Social Responsibility Program (TJSL) provided financial assistance worth 100 million to support the “Joint Waste Eradication Program” in the construction of Waste Treatment Sites Reduce – Reuse – Recycle (TP3SR) to the Faculty of Engineering, Gadjah Mada University (UGM).

Palembang, 15 May 2023 – PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) as a Subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) through Rumah BUMN Baturaja held regional cooking training for UMK Foster Partners. This training was held at the Baturaja BUMN House on Monday (15/5).
The training was attended by 20 participants, the participants were taught basic cooking techniques and guided by resource persons who are experienced in the culinary field, namely Mrs.
This training taught about various types of pempek, such as pempek lenjer, submarine, adaan, and other pempek models. The participants also learned about proper dough processing, selection of quality ingredients, and how to produce the perfect pempek texture.
Meanwhile, one of the training participants, Yuliana, who is engaged in the culinary business, revealed that training like this was good and useful for MSEs to follow.

“I am very enthusiastic about this training, because we were taught from the start on how to choose quality ingredients for making pempek and then learn to process the right dough and produce delicious and delicious pempek,” said Regline.

Jakarta – PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) participated in the MSME Bazaar for Indonesia 2023 which was organized by the Ministry of BUMN on January 26-29 2023 at the Sarinah Building, Jakarta, by presenting 32 types of products from 14 MSMEs developing businesses in the culinary field, craft, to fashion and beauty.

SMBR CSR Senior Manager, Gili Aprial Braja said the 32 types of MSME products presented were produced by UMKM assisted by Rumah BUMN Baturaja. Not only do they meet the criteria, all of these products have also successfully passed strict curation, both in terms of quality and packaging.

“As of May 2022, Rumah BUMN Baturaja already has 261 assisted MSMEs from OKU Regency,” added Gili.

Apart from that, there are also Beeyond Honey products managed by Rumah BUMN Baturaja. Beeyond Honey is produced by Trigona bees. This type of bee is a primitive species that only produces a little honey but the quality is the best because it contains the highest bee pollen. This honey cultivation is carried out on SMBR’s post-mining reclamation land, which is managed by assisted MSMEs.

At Rumah BUMN Baturaja, MSME actors are not only given funding assistance, but also receive assistance in the licensing process, various training according to their respective fields, product packaging and marketing, to the latest is assistance for halal certification.

Funds and Employee Zakat that have been collected were handed over to BAZNAS of South Sumatra Province as humanitarian assistance for the victims of the Cianjur Earthquake disaster. The aid was symbolically handed over to the Cianjur Regency Earthquake Response BAZNAS Team on Tuesday (6/12) on the spot.

CIANJUR – The PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk Disaster Response Team distributed aid to earthquake victims at one of the Islamic boarding schools in the Cianjur area, West Java (24/11). Representatives from the Company, Fandi Mardianto and Radityo, donated directly to disaster victims in Cianjur, West Java.

The company expresses its deep concern and condolences to all people affected by the earthquake in the Cianjur area. The disaster caused damage to buildings and caused casualties and injuries.

BATURAJA – PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) through the Baturaja SOE House held a product photo training for fostered MSEs on Thursday (15/09) at the Baturaja SOE House.

This training invited the resource person, Supriadi, a photography practitioner who is also the OKU Local Government Public Relations Protocol. There are 14 MSEs fostered by Baturaja SOEs who participate in various variations of MSE products.

SMBR wants to develop MSEs’ skills in mastering photography and editing techniques in order to be able to produce attractive product photos before being marketed online. In addition, the content produced can also increase the brand image of MSE products in the eyes of consumers.

Supriadi explained that good and attractive product photos are one of the marketing techniques to attract consumers because this needs to be applied to all MSEs in order to compete in the current digitalization era.

PALEMBANG – PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) through the SOE TJSL Program distributed assistance in the form of cash and basic necessities to fire victims on Jl. Aibtu A Wahab Lrg. Suka Damai I RT.08 RW.02 Tuan Kentang Village, Jakabaring District, Palembang City, on Monday (19/09).

This fire accident occurred on Wednesday (14/09) after maghrib time which had scorched 1 housing unit filled by 4 families.

This assistance was given directly by the Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Gili Aprial Braja together with the CSR Team to the fire victims with a total aid value of Rp. 5.000.000.- (in cash and food packages).
