Semen Baturaja Holds Retail Gathering to Strengthen Partnerships and Development in Lampung

LAMPUNG – PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR), a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG), continues to strengthen partnerships between its principals, distributors, and store network as strategic partners in the distribution of cement products in Lampung Province.

Through the SIG Retail Gathering “Jalin Kolaborasi Bangga Bangun Indonesia” (Forging Collaboration, Proud to Build Indonesia), held at the Horison Hotel Ballroom in Bandar Lampung on Saturday (November 8th), SIG and SMBR expressed their appreciation to store partners for their loyalty and contribution to supporting the distribution of Semen Baturaja products. The event was attended by 125 stores and 12 distributors from across Lampung.

SIG President Director Indrieffouny Indra, in her virtual remarks, expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the event. Our progress together is a testament to our hard work, collaboration, and unwavering passion.

“So far, your stores have been at the forefront of introducing and selling our various products. We believe this collaboration is not just a business matter, but a shared passion for building the nation. We remain committed to providing the best, from cities to remote areas of the archipelago. Thank you for your trust, loyalty, and enthusiasm,” he said.

Meanwhile, SMBR President Director Suherman Yahya, in his remarks, stated that this activity is an expression of gratitude from SIG and SMBR to partners who have collaborated, synergized, and collaborated more closely to build Indonesia.

“Together, let’s create synergy, increase market share, and develop our existing market in Lampung. Let’s move forward together, building a stronger and more resilient Lampung,” he said.

Furthermore, SMBR Vice President of Sales Kartha Kurniadi explained that the main objective of this activity is to strengthen collaboration between producers, distributors, and stores as the spearhead of cement distribution.

“This collaboration is expected to support development in Lampung Province, especially as cement demand continues to increase as major projects in the region progress,” he said.

Kartha added that cement sales in Lampung Province reach 100,000 to 110,000 tons per month. Through solid collaboration between SIG, distributors, and stores, it is hoped that supply availability can be maintained and support regional development.

On the same occasion, the Head of the Lampung Province Industry and Trade Office, Evie Fatmawaty, representing Lampung Governor Rahmat Mirzani Djausal, stated that economic development and growth are currently booming, such as the development of industrial estates and hotels.

“Lampung is currently experiencing rapid economic growth. We hope Semen Baturaja can continue to be a strategic partner in supporting Lampung’s development and economic growth going forward,” she said.

She added that Lampung’s strategic position as a gateway to Sumatra makes the region increasingly attractive to investors. “Activities like the SIG Retail Gathering provide valuable opportunities to strengthen collaboration between producers and retail networks, which is key to regional economic growth,” he concluded.

On this occasion, SIG and SMBR presented various awards to high-achieving stores, including the Timeless Partner Award for Trijaya Store, the Power Performance Award for Lumayan Store, the Loyalty Award for Asia Store, the Rising Star Award for Maju Jaya Store, and the Consistent Partner Award for Anyar Jaya Store.

SIG and SMBR also presented special recognition to the stores with the best sales: Cahaya Baru Store, DFG Rawajitu Store, and Maju Jaya Bandar Jaya Keramik Store, which received attractive prizes for their sales achievements. The grand prize, a Suzuki New Carry Pick-Up, was won by Lumayan Building Materials Store.

“I didn’t expect to win a car. I’ll use the car for my business,” said Cia, daughter of Mr. Cecep, owner of Lumayan Store, enthusiastically.

The event also featured a performance by Indonesian diva Yuni Shara, who performed a number of hits to entertain the guests. Through this event, SIG and SMBR demonstrated their commitment to continued collaboration, strengthening partnerships, and contributing to building a more advanced Lampung and Indonesia. (*)
